55. Zettai Zetsumei Dangerous Jiisan DS (Kids Station, DS, 2006)

Zettai Zetsumei Dangerous Jiisan DS (something like "Complete Despair Dangerous Old Man DS" in English) is a minigame collection based on an anime / manga. The plot of the game involves various hijinx occurring in a house inhabited by an old man (the titular Jiisan) and a young boy. 

Minigame themes include: 

- Trying to wake Jiisan up from a nap by throwing various objects of interest at him.

- Tracing a portrait of Jiisan (very reminiscent of Mario Party)

- Helping Jiisan use the toilet. This game was controlled by the DS microphone, you had to make farting sounds, but I was on a plane (in a middle seat no less), so this was the point where I stopped playing.

There is definitely a lot of personality in the art, but the gameplay makes Mario Party look downright thrilling, and it's all touchscreen and microphone based. With no overall theme or progression tying the games together, I don't have much desire to continue playing.
